Exercise: clip_in_clip

The exercise due at the start of the class on Monday/Tuesday requires you to create a ONE-FRAME movie of animated movie clips that hold other animated movie clips.

Here are some guidelines for what you want to do:

• Create a movie clip of a car
• Using a movie clip, create a moving wheel for the car.
• Place the movie clip of the wheel INSIDE the car symbol.
• Create buttons on the main timeline that will stop AND start the animation AND the car wheels.
• Create at least two other movie clips inside the movie clips you created already OR create new movie clips on your stage to make the scene even more hectic.
• Script your buttons to stop and start ALL action (main timeline AND movie clips).

Use the "Movie Clips Made Simple" handout in your packet for reference. Bottom line, show me understand movie clips and scripting buttons to control them.

FINALLY, in adition to handing in this exercise in the dropbox, place the animaiton online and email the link to: lauraruel@gmail.com by the start of class on Monday/Tuesday.

NOTE: There will be a PRIZE for the person who has the most clips inside clips that are controlled with buttons on the main timeline.
